Prepare the Fries
- 1. Wash and peel the russet potatoes.
- 2. Cut them into thin fries, about 1/4-inch thick.
- 3. Soak the fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Make the Animal Style Sauce
- 1. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped dill pickles, sugar, and white vinegar.
- 2. Stir well until all ingredients are well-combined. Cook the Onions
- 1. Heat a pan over medium heat.
- 2. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil and the diced onions.
- 3. Cook until the onions are caramelized, stirring occasionally. Fry the Potatoes
